Junior Ski Trip

Year 6 students had an amazing time on their recent skiing trip. It was an unforgettable experience filled with joy, learning, and remarkable progress on the slopes. The teachers who accompanied the trip would like to express their immense pride in the exemplary behaviour displayed by all our students throughout the trip. Their maturity, responsibility, and respect for one another, and their instructors, were truly commendable. They were fabulous representatives of our school!

The weather could not have been more perfect for our ski adventure. With a smattering of fresh snow, clear blue skies, crisp mountain air, and abundant sunshine, the stunning scenery provided a picturesque backdrop for our students’ skiing accomplishments, enhancing their overall experience no end.

Now, let’s talk about their skiing progress! From the moment they strapped on their skis, it was evident that our Year 6 students were natural athletes. Under the guidance of the ESF instructors, they quickly gained confidence and skill on the slopes. Whether they were mastering their first turns or tackling more challenging terrain, their determination and perseverance shone through.

Throughout the trip, we witnessed remarkable growth and improvement in their skiing abilities. They embraced each lesson with enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, and their hard work paid off in spades. By the end of the trip, many of our students were navigating the many mountain trails, displaying their newfound talents. We could not be happier with the overall success of the Year 6 ski trip. Not only did our students excel on the slopes, but they also demonstrated exceptional teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. We are confident that the memories created during this trip will stay with them for years to come.

The NWC Ski Team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to parents for their support and trust in allowing us to provide such enriching experiences for our students and we look forward to many more skiing adventures with younger students in the years to come.
