Northwood Ninjas Netball

Northwood Ninjas Netball club enjoyed a fantastic Winter season at Queensnorth Junior Netball league, held at NWC with U11-U14 teams.

The Ninja Leopards U14 team won their division, having achieved more than 80 goals (over the season) than their second place rivals! The club enjoyed further success in the U13 division as the Ninja Sphinx achieved second place.

‘We are delighted for all the players. They have all worked so hard this year and it’s great to see this reflected in the league’ said Mrs Shah.

The dedication of the girls was further reflected with six players across the league teams being selected for the Hillingdon London Youth Games.

Northwood Ninjas was founded nine years ago as a ‘Back to Netball’ session providing adults of all abilities the opportunity to learn netball and build their fitness. The club has been growing ever since and now boasts over 160 members, including two ladies league teams, as well as, junior squads in U11 to U15 divisions. In addition Ninjas provide training, mentoring and development opportunities for young people who want to gain coaching

and umpiring experience. We have now two new junior umpires who recently passed their Into umpiring course. Congratulations to Sofia S and Keya P.

‘We are proud of all the players – juniors and adults. People join us at all different points on their netball journey. We work with them to achieve their netball goals and enjoy celebrating all their successes big or small!’ concluded Mrs Shah.
